Client Agreements
Before we start any work, every client signs the five short agreements below. We publish them here so you can read every word before you sign up, ask questions, or show them to your own lawyer. Your personalized copies are filled in for you when you start your onboarding packet.
The agreements
- Disclaimer (PDF): We’re a letter-writing service, not a law firm. This explains what that means for you: no legal advice, no attorney-client relationship, and your deadlines stay your responsibility.
- Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (PDF): How we protect what you share with us, how long we keep records, and when the law could require us to disclose them.
- Service Agreement (PDF): The main terms: what we do, how fees, deposits, refunds, and revisions work, and how any disagreement gets resolved.
- Hold Harmless & Release Agreement (PDF): You decide whether and how to send every letter, and you’re responsible for the facts you give us. This agreement puts that in writing.
- Engagement Letter & Order Form (PDF): The page that confirms your specific project and its price. Every fee is fixed in writing before work begins.
The short version
- Fixed prices, in writing first. We never charge a percentage of anything you recover.
- You stay in control. You approve every word and send every letter under your own name.
- Straight answers. If your situation needs a lawyer, we’ll tell you, even when it means we don’t take the work.
- Your information stays private. We never sell it, and we protect it under a signed confidentiality agreement.
