- How we work — The Response Desk™ is a writing service, not a law firm. We draft letters from the facts and documents you provide; you review, approve, sign, and send every letter under your own name. We don’t contact the other party on your behalf, give legal advice, or tell you what your legal rights are. When a letter cites a law, regulation, or published policy, it’s drawn from public sources and included with your approval; please confirm it applies to you. You remain responsible for any legal deadline. We can’t guarantee any outcome. If your situation involves a lawsuit, a court deadline, a criminal or immigration issue, or a decision about your legal rights, we’ll tell you so and suggest a lawyer, legal aid office, or lawyer-referral service.
- Revision round — one consolidated set of your edits within 7 days of delivery. Substantive rewrites beyond the original scope are billed as a new letter or hourly.
- Standard turnaround — 3–5 business days from receipt of your details and documents. Rush available.
- Materials — handouts, worksheets, exhibits, and printed workbooks are included where noted or billed at cost; third-party production, printing, and postage are passed through at cost.
- Payment — orders under $300 are paid in full when you book; larger projects take a 50% deposit, with the balance due before delivery.
- Quotes — all work is quoted and confirmed in writing before it begins; the $125 situation-review fee credits toward your project if we write your letter.
