Talks, workshops, and trainings on reading and answering the letters that matter — for conferences, associations, employers, libraries, and community groups. The fees below are honorariums for preparation, intellectual property, and live delivery; travel and materials are arranged and covered by the host, kept separate from the honorarium.

Travel & expenses
Arranged and covered by the host:
- Airfare, lodging, and ground transportation are arranged and paid directly by the host, or reimbursed in full at cost.
- Travel Day Fee of $750 for each day of required travel outside the event day, compensating time in transit.
- Optional Flat Travel Buyout — for domestic engagements, a flat $2,500 all-inclusive travel fee in place of itemized reimbursement, at the host’s option.
- Meals and incidentals reimbursed at the federal (GSA) per-diem rate, or covered directly by the host.
Materials & handouts
Provided to the host:
- Participant handouts and workbooks are prepared for your event and provided to the host: print-ready files supplied at no charge for the host to reproduce, or printed workbooks delivered at $25 per attendee.
- Custom tailoring beyond the standard talk is billed at the $185/hr planning rate, estimated in advance.
- Travel and materials are covered by the host on these same terms at every fee level, including the community rate — the reduced rate applies to the honorarium only. Where a host cannot cover travel, the talk runs virtually.
Note — A 50% deposit reserves your date; the balance is due 30 days before the event, with travel arranged at least 30 days out.
